Linkin Park's 'Hybrid Theory' Street Soldier Is Getting A Funko Pop Figure

The Linkin Park gifts just keep on coming!

In celebration of Hybrid Theory turning 20 this month, the band has announced a collaboration with Funko toy maker to create a Street Soldier Funko Pop! figure— and it's incredible.

The vinyl figure is designed to look exactly like the Street Soldier featured on the Hybrid Theory album cover and yes, it's complete with a set of wings too. It'll come packaged in a protective case with the original artwork behind it so you can preserve it while showing it off.

The Funko Pop! retails for $14.99 and is available for pre-order. The only bummer, it won't ship until early January. You can check it out here. It's also available to pre-order on Funko's official site as well as Hot Topic (for $16.99).

“This was a no Brainer. No i have to wait for this beautiful piece of Art,” one fan wrote after seeing the news while another commented, “Just ordered it. I don’t normally buy Funkos but I couldn’t resist this one.”

In addition to the collector's item, Linkin Park has released an extensive 20th anniversary edition box set of Hybrid Theory. “Thanks to everybody for supporting the band for all these years and being awesome, we are so grateful for you and we love you all,” Mike Shinoda told fans during the box set's first-look.

Earlier this week, Linkin Park shared never-before-seen footage from the making of Hybrid Theory's lead single, “One Step Closer.” In the video, fans get to hear the late Chester Bennington explain why the band chose the song as the first single as well as the whole band discussing why they work so well together.
