IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Ironton Mayor Rich Blankenship is asking residents to conserve water.
The Mayor says there are water leaks across the city.
Blankenship says he is in the process of transferring employees from the sanitation department to help with the water repairs, because there are not enough employees in the water department to handle all of the leaks.
He says at this time, they are not out of water and are not under a boil water advisory, but he asks residents to conserve water.
