BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Three teenagers have been indicted in connection with shooting and killing several horses in Boyd County, Ky.
Five horses were shot in January. They all died from their injuries, or had to be put down.
The shootings happened in the Durbin and Burnaugh areas of Boyd County, near the Lawrence County line.
Shortly after the shootings, three people were arrested in connection with the crimes. They were recently indicted by a grand jury in Boyd County.
Travis Thompson, 18, of Ashland, Cody A. Hicks, 17, of Ashland, and Corey S. Shannon, 18, of Catlettsburg, have all been indicted in the case.
All three are being charged as adults.
