WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man armed with a knife held up the Rich gas station Tuesday night in the 4900 block of Waverly Road (U.S. 60), just west of Huntington, West Virginia State Police say.

The incident was reported at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday.

A station employee told troopers that a man with his face covered showed a knife and demanded money. The man got away with some cash and took off east along U.S. 60 on foot.

No one was hurt. No customers were inside the station at the time.

Troopers were looking at surveillance video. A K-9 unit also was at the scene.
