HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is facing eight charges after an early morning pursuit that lasted nearly half an hour.

Officers with the Huntington detachment of West Virginia State Police arrested Terry Gene Garner, 48, for running red lights, stop signs and almost hitting oncoming vehicles.

According to the criminal complaint, Garner's wife called 911 from the vehicle. She told dispatchers her husband was refusing to stop because he didn't want to go back to prison and he had been smoking crack inside the vehicle.
